AllVoices investigators can now message involved parties directly from the investigation workflow to keep a record of conversation throughout the duration of the investigation, send outcome letters and capture any post-investigation follow-up.
How it works
- Once involved parties' names and emails have been added to the ‘Investigation Plan’ investigators can message them from the ‘Interviews’ step of the workflow.
- Investigator(s) can click on ‘Message” to open the respective conversation which will include a label and icon indicating the person’s role in the investigation
- Issue Raised by / Complainant
- Claim Raised Against / Respondent
- Witnesses

- Send message
- Once the investigator sends a message the involved party will receive an email to their inbox linking them to the AllVoices’ messaging portal where they can respond to the investigator and upload any relevant attachments.
- The involved party must click ‘reply to message’ and enter the code to access the messaging portal
- They can then respond to the message as well as upload attachments..
- Notifications:
- The assigned admin and selected investigator (if different than assigned admin) will be notified via email and slack (if enabled) of all new messages on the case including messages from the reporter.
- Admins can access investigation messages from the ‘Interviews’ step on the investigation workflow or the ‘Messaging’ inbox on the case details page
- For inbound reports, the chat with the reporter will be clearly distinguished from any external case and investigation messages
