3-5 Business Days Post Investigation:
Review investigation findings and prepare outcome letters to complainant and respondent describing investigation findings. Regardless of findings, complainant and respondent should receive an outcome letter.
5-10 Business Days Post Investigation:
If the investigation substantiated that respondent violated employer policy or engaged in misconduct, prepare documentation of remedial action against respondent (i.e., warning, discipline, demotion, mandatory training), and provide to respondent.
30 Days Post Investigation:
Follow up with complainant and respondent (regardless of outcome of investigation) to check in after investigation and ensure no remaining issues.
6 Months Post Investigation:
If complainant experiences any significant employment action within 6 months of completion of investigation, review action to ensure no retaliation.
